General Disclaimer

Dragon Disco is provided on an "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" basis, without warranties of any kind—express, implied, or statutory—including but not limited to implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, title, and non-infringement. You assume all risk for your use of the site and any outputs or data produced by it.

Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, the authors and contributors will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for any loss of data, revenue, or profits, arising from or related to your use of Dragon Disco—even if advised of the possibility of such damages.

Terms of Use

Dragon Disco lets you import, edit, and export data on your device. You're responsible for ensuring you have the rights to any content you use. Exports to Avrae, Owlbear Rodeo, or other services are governed by those services' terms and privacy policies; inclusion here is for interoperability and does not imply endorsement.

Data Storage & Backups

Data is stored only in your browser. We can't restore it if it's lost (e.g., clearing storage, private browsing, different device/profile). Use Export regularly to make your own backups.

Security Disclosure

If you discover a security issue, please email dragondisco@katzeye.me. Don't publicly disclose until we've had a chance to address it.

Age

Dragon Disco is not directed to children under 13. By using the site you represent you're 13+ (or the minimum age in your region).

Trademarks & Attribution

Dragon Disco is an independent tool and is not affiliated with, associated with, authorized by, endorsed by, or in any way officially connected with Wizards of the Coast, Owlbear Rodeo, Discord, or any other party. All trademarks, service marks, and trade names remain the property of their respective owners and are used here for identification and descriptive purposes only. Marks are used solely to indicate compatibility or interoperability (nominative fair use) and do not imply endorsement.

Combat Sync Icons

The condition and status icons used in the Combat Sync feature are sourced from game-icons.net. Most are used under the Creative Commons Attribution 3.0 Unported (CC BY 3.0) license; exceptions are noted per artist.

Copyright Concerns & Takedown

For copyright concerns, email dragondisco@katzeye.me with the URL, a description of the material, and proof of ownership. We'll review and respond promptly.

Privacy & Data Collection

Dragon Disco is a client-side application with no server-side account system. App data (such as your configuration, tables, or encounters) is stored locally in your browser (e.g., LocalStorage/IndexedDB) and remains under your control. Clearing your browser storage or using a different browser/device may remove or isolate that data. Import/export features operate on your device; encounter and settings data is only shared with external services when you explicitly use integration features as described below.

Standard server logs may be collected by the hosting provider.

Avrae Integration

If you store an Avrae API token in Dragon Disco, that token is sent to api.avrae.io with every Avrae API request, as it is required to authenticate. When you use sync features (manual or auto-sync) from the website or the Owlbear extension, encounter data is sent to and stored in your Avrae User Variables (UVARs) on avrae.io. Your token and synced data are governed by Avrae's privacy policy.

Owlbear Rodeo Extension

The Dragon Disco Owlbear Rodeo extension communicates with www.owlbear.rodeo and shares token and combat state data with other instances of the extension in the same room, via Owlbear Rodeo's infrastructure. This data is governed by Owlbear Rodeo's privacy policy.

Character Sheet Imports (Dragon Disco CORS Proxy)

When importing character sheets from D&D Beyond or Dicecloud, the fetch request may be routed through a Dragon Disco CORS relay. This proxy only forwards the request to the relevant service; no character data is collected or stored by Dragon Disco. However, the character sheet URL and ID do pass through Dragon Disco's server as part of this relay.

Token Images (Third-Party Image Proxy)

Token images may be loaded through the third-party image proxy images.weserv.nl for CORS compatibility and format conversion. The original token image URL is sent to this service. Dragon Disco has no control over this third-party service.

Google Sheets Integration & Google API User Data

  • Data Accessed: Only the content of specific Google Sheets you provide by URL (cell values in the tab(s) you select), plus the spreadsheet title and list of tabs/sheet names to help you choose. No other Google user data is accessed.
  • Data Usage: Data is used solely to display encounter data and related in-app features. Only rows/columns that match the required schema are imported; any data not matching the format is ignored and not imported.
  • Data Sharing: No Google user data is shared with third parties, sold, or used for ads. Data is not sent to Dragon Disco servers.
  • Data Storage & Protection: All accessed data stays on your device in your browser storage. There is no server-side copy. Access occurs only with your explicit consent via Google OAuth.
  • Data Retention & Deletion: Dragon Disco does not retain Google user data on our servers. It lives only on your device. You can delete it anytime by removing imported items and clearing Dragon Disco data in your browser (LocalStorage/IndexedDB). You can revoke app access in your Google Account under Security > Third-party access. For help, email contact@dragondisco.com.

The use of information received from Google APIs will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
